“Think Hack Ship Repeat”

A lifelong techie, I develop branded and niche iOS apps for discerning clients, including government and private organizations. With more than 85 projects published on the App Store, I revel in collaborating with fellow coders who share my passion for building incredible software.

I am a former Army Ranger who married his high school sweetheart, a remarkable woman, and am the proud father of three young adults. When not working, I volunteer, break bread with friends, enjoy the arts and the great outdoors, and shepherd our Weimaraner and four rescue cats. I am also a diehard Crimson Tide football fan and sometimes binge-watch a few epic television series.

Experience

High Ground Solutions, Inc.

iOS Developer August 2016 - Present

I design and build mobile applications for the company and its partners’ iOS platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. I also unit-test code integrity, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. My other responsibilities include debugging and improving software performance, continuously discovering, evaluating, and integrating new technologies to increase development efficiency.

Upwork

iOS Developer March 2016 - January 2017

As a member of the world’s largest freelancer marketplace, I regularly overhauled clients’ bug-ridden mobile application projects, shipping a stable, polished app on time and under budget.

DevMountain

iOS Developer October 2015 - January 2016

During this intensive, hands-on period, I completed the experiential equivalent of what could take a typical programmer two years to acquire in a traditional office environment. Under the guidance of world-class instructors and dedicated mentors, I lived, ate, slept, and breathed Swift (and Objective-C) day and night, completing over a hundred quality projects to sharpen my coding skills for real-world applications.
